Let's face it- life's messy! It can be a beautiful, perfectly ordered, divine mess... if you allow it....
And herein lies the key- Allow! Trust that you're always guided out of any divine mess... or rather through it. It's only through experiencing and feeling it fully that you will blossom and evolve.
Know this: when shit happens, shift happens!
Be willing to see the blessing in everything. Affirm it even if it's not in the package you wish it to be. Welcome the gift. Be grateful.
Give up the incessant need to know why things happened as they did... or how things will turn out.... you won't know- no matter how hard you try to find out!
Living in the past, wondering, and constantly asking 'why' is only keeping you stuck, making you suffer and preventing you from moving forward to experience the exquisite life that awaits you...
I know that for me, the 'need to know' felt like carrying a weight. And yet letting go and allowing has been one of the most challenging lessons to put into practice. It is a daily commitment. A prayer I come back to again and again is the Serenity Prayer:

The following five words stand out for me in this very beautiful and centering prayer:
God is my help in every need. I reach out to The Divine every time I feel out of harmony knowing that I will find my way back to Peace.
Serenity is what I desire to feel at every moment. It is only when I am peace that I can make a conscious and loving choice. I take a few deep breaths to center myself in stillness.
Accept is the first step to aligning with The Divine. It is only in acceptance of what is that we open the door to clarity. No judgements. No attachments.
Courage is a word derived from the Latin word 'cor', which means heart. It is our Heart that Knows the Truth. It is when we wholeheartedly align with Truth that we have the strength to act in the face of fear, pain or disapproval.
Wisdom is taking action or no action, making a decision with discernment. Surrender. Allowing Shift to Happen!
Surprisingly, the more I practice being okay with not knowing, the more comfortable I am with the unknown and the more I experience freedom, peace and joy!
Try saying the Serenity Prayer any time you feel life is getting a little messy (or a lot ), better yet say it throughout your day. It will serve to remind you that you are never alone and it will anchor you in Truth, allowing Shift to Happen!
